2001 A6 peace of mind help
 

I dont know if I'm just going crazy, but I feel like something looked different when I was getting in my car last night. I have a 2001 A6 2.8, and I noticed that with the headlights on, or parking lights on, only the #2 section of my tail light is lit. The #1 section is not lit, but does blink for the turn signal. I hope I'm just remembering wrong, but are the #1 and #2 sections both supposed to be lit when the headlights are on??

Thats the way mine work, so I guess that is the way they are supposed to be. The top bulbs should be the blinker and the bottom the driving/parking lights.
