Default Blow sound

Hi everyone

I drive a A3 2.0T with DSG, apon average acceleration while gears are being changed the car makes a blow /soft thud sound almost like the boot is not closed properly.

It's definitely not the turbo because i can hear that sound seperately. Sound also orginates from the the back right hand side of the car and the exhaust is on the left.

Has anyone come across this?

Thankx in advance.

Default RE: Blow sound

yes, it's normal. the dsg shifts so fast you get a thump sound from the transmission and exhaust flow. I've grown to actually love the sound. You can try a free flowing exhaust to help a little, get a resonated exhaust system to keep it quieter if you want.
