Default 2007 Changes for A3 3.2

Is there any info on changes to this car for 2007? I'm in no rush for the car (actually going to order the car) and I know that Audi is dropping the free maintenance for 2007. Just want to know if there are going to be additional options/different options or whether the 3.2 will come with different options as standard equipment. IOW, is there any advantage in waiting for the 2007 model?

Ordering guides should be out soon.

Be interesting to see what Audi does. Pricing has been an issue consistently raised with this car, particularly the 3.2 where options push the price of the typically equipped 3.2 into the $37-38k territory. One thing I've found is that given the lack of discounts for the 3.2 in general, there isn't much reason NOT to order the car. For example, most cars in my area come in silver or dark grey ($450 extra) and the CWP ($700). So unless a car with these options is discounted by $1150, why not order my car???

Secondly, with the 2.0, there have been a lot of complaints about option packages, both what packages you need to get what you want and packages that make it impossible to get what you want. Be interesting to see if Audi addresses this in any fashion.

Finally, there are things that should have been on the car to begin with, like an Ipod connection without ordering the Nav system and a passenger side power seat. Audi showed some flexibility by offering bluetooth half way thru the 2006 model, let's see if they continue to listen to their customers for 2007.

I'd also add that Audi should make their lives simpler and throw everything into the 3.2 except the CWP, sat radio, nav system and high perf wheels/tires. I'd also add in the colors that are $450 extra now as standard. The options on the 3.2 leave me feeling nickled and dimed. And let's not even get started with the options on the 2.0!!!

If they did this, the cars would come standard with everything most buyers would want and they could reduce the total cost of these options. It would also simplify manufacturing. Everyone would win.

Default 2007 Changes: 2.0 S-Line

I heard that Audi wil be offering a S-line 2.0 which will come with most of the features on the Sport Package and Premium Package. These packages will no longer be available. Hard to know for sure, but sounds like the 2.0 S-line might have the same options standard as the 3.2. If so, the only difference between the cars may be quattro and the bigger engine. Should be interesting to see how the 2.0 S-line is priced.
