Renegades 03-13-2006, 04:59 PM The Dana 44 is one of the only axles that work for the swap because it has the same bolt pattern as the rear stock Toyota axles and its the proper width...You can always go custom, and have a Dana 60 built with the same bolt pattern for this swap but thats several thousand more...;) Beer Mod 03-13-2006, 05:55 PM Well now I wonder..........Did you put waggy outers on the ford HP44 cuz ford is 5x5.5 and toy is 6x5.5 the only 44 I know of is the jeep waggy. That would give you the six lug you need but in order to make it all work you must have swaped the knuckles like I did to get the Hi-steer.
