I purchased a 2006 A6 with Audi's MMI system. I have two questions thus far that I cannot find answers for in the documentation. (1) when listening to music (radio, CD, etc.) while using the navigation system with verbal route guidance, I noticed that the audio is not muted when the navigation system is talking. Because of this, I have to turn up the volume level on the navigation system to be louder than the audio in order to hear the route guidance. (2) the CD system is able to read the CD artist names and track titles and display them through the MMI screen if you set it up to recognize the information. I made the set up selections for this in MMI, but it still won't recognize the CD information (it indicates "audio CD" and "track 01, 02, etc." instead of the artist name and track titles).

Are there some tricks that are not in the books to make these things work, or do I likely have a problem that needs Audi's attention? I'd appreciate any insight on this.
