Default From Dino to Synthetic, problems???

Was told that my A6 had a oil change before I purchased it, 50K service. What else should of been done. Same air filter, its dirty. They used Chevron 10W-30. Question is, can I change to Synthetic without any problems? Seals, etc. Change it and then do it again within 500 miles, something like that. Any thoughts would be great

yeah there should be no problems switching to synthetic oil. I would switch to something thinner than 10W-30 for the winter months. Maybe a mobile one 0W-40 or 5w-40. You should probably get a new air filter and also a new cabin filter. Think about new spark plugs also. In another 10-20k miles you need to think about replacing the timing belt/water pump/etc.
