Default *** Carbonio Intake Install Pics ***

The following are some pics of when I installed my Carbonio Intake. The install was fairly simple, didn't take me more than an hour. This kit is expensive, but on the ride home, I could notice the difference. When I hit the gas, the response time to the engine is almost instant, not sluggish like before. I can also hear the air being sucked in, while inside the car. It's a very faint noise, but it can be heard if you are listening for it. I had my friend rev it up while I stood next to the engine bay, and it just sounds amazing. You can really hear the difference in air flow.

Stock air box removed...

New in the box...

Friend of mine, trying to figure out what's what...

Coast Guard shop with 25ft. Patrol Boat in background...

New air filter housing installed...

Nope, it completly get's rid of the stock air box... It works very much so like the K&N cone filters, how it is open to the engine bay. There are pre-cut holes in the provided heatshield, for the MAF re-installation. Here is a picture of the old airbox, I don't know what to do with it... The filter inside it was pretty dirty...

I was thinking about it, but I would loose those sweet looking rings... I don't know if it's worth it!
