Cutouts...?

jereme -> Cutouts...? (3/13/2006 9:16:09 PM)

I have a 98 1.8tq. I really want an exhaust for my car but..there are some times where i really like the stealthness of the stock exhaust. So i was thinking about it and decided i might try an exhaust cut out. I was wondering if anyone on here has tried or is running an electric exhaust cutout..? I searched around and couldn't really find anything. The one I am thinking about can be seen on this website.

it's not bad on the stock exhaust..you'll feel some gains..the best is the 3" DP and then if you want the cut out then you'll feel great gains and still look stock from the back!!

nifty freaking idea....really cool for any car that wants to retain that stock look and plus i bet cops might be a bit nicer with it(assuming the rest of your car looks stock)

Jeremy,
Check out www.RaceReadyPerformance.com They are the most reliable around and carry a lifetime warranty. I have had a set for years and they have not had any problems of any kind.

I had a cutout on my camaro, sounded absolutely amazing...but does anyone know how it will sound on an audi? I really hope it doesn't sound like rice...
