18" 2005 S4 Avus Wheels

Does anyone know if these will fit a 2001 A6 4.2? This listing says they won't, but I don't understand why.

Those do NOT clear the HP2 brake caliper in front. The offset is ET45, which is 10mm further inward than your stock ET35 wheels.
