Too much Bass??
I currenlty have a Rockford T212D4 (2000 watt Peak) in my A4. When I'm standing outside my car and just showing off my system my license plate rattles and is really annoying, any ideas how to fix this problem?
I made sure that all the screws are tight but it stills persists to rattle. Any Ideas?? |
RE: Too much Bass??
The right way to do it is to Dynamat your trunk. It's a little expensive but it makes it sound great. If you want a cheap fix, you can get 3m double sided tape and stick two small pieces on the back of the plate and press it against the trunk. If it leaves marks, it doesn't matter because you never see them. That's what I did on top of the dynamat when I was into sound.

I looked up Dynamat on ebay and the prices were a litte expensive. Would you reccomend the Dynamat, Does it really sound that much better???

RE: Too much Bass??
I've been using "Fatmat" in all my installs for many years, just as good as Dynamat imo, just much cheaper... Ebay - tons of it...

I'll be sure to check out "Fatmat" |

Try the double sided tape. You won't be dissapointed.

I think I will try the Tape first before i spend the money on Fatmat
Thanks for advice |
RE: Too much Bass??
if anything, theirs a kit made by dynamat specifically for the license plate, i think it runs about $30 or so, you should be able to pick it up at any audio place or even best buy if you have any around you.
