quick update...

I talked to the audi customer service after I found out that the recall work was done on my car. They want to inspect the car and see if it was the same... I will hear back from them in a couple of days.

I contacted audi and they are going to inspect the car right around Easter.

They told me that if I can hold off and not collect the insurance payment, that it would probably be best.

We shall see what happens

DAMMMMNNNNN !! THATS CRAZY BUT GOOD LUCK! I wouldve been on the sellers ass!! he wouldve have to replace the vehicle especially if they was in the car with you! so its obvious it wasnt your fault!!

Ahh....My S4 burned down to the ground this morning!!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!
I put the emergency flashers on...went into starbucks for a half cafe-non-fat-doubleshot-extra-hot-no foam latte....and when I got back outside there was a smoldering hulk and a fire crew standing around......oh man!

I was listening to Incubus...Pardon Me While I Burn....do you think that was a contributing factor? Is there a TSB on the wiring harnes for the emergency flashers??

Don't get so excited..........First off, most states, if not all states, have laws that protect you the used car consumer from incidents such as you describe. Find out what your rights are first, then confront the dealer for a full refund of the money. The dealer will abide......but if given a chance, they will try to unload another car onto you before you take action. It's just a game, know your wrights!...........Good luck.........
