I have just bought an 80tdi avant which I'm very happy with. It has 193k cambelt done at 188k it's been lowered alot which means it can be uncomfortable at times but great round bendy stuff which I have lots of round here in sw wales and it has a K&N.

I haven't yet have a great deal of time to examine her yet but what should I check for? How do I see if it's been tuned already (beat an a4 tdi110 40-90) What are some tuning options and cost of them?
Is a hybrid turbo worth concidering and how much are these?
How do I increase boost and what safe? Injectors?
