So far Audi is actually going to make the '07 RS model in 2 batches due to high demand. The first half will be stateside Later this month (May) and the second batch sometime in July. The RS4 I ordered will not arrive until July...DAMMIT! The dealer I bought mine through says 3 of the four that are coming this month are not spoken for if anyone is interested? I am not jumping on it because the colors that are coming are not what I am looking for, 2 black & 1 silver. I ordered Daytona Gray.
Also, even though the Audi doesn't have as much or more torque as it has horsepower...that is where the all wheel drive comes in to support the car. I thought the same thing in the beginning but am not worried. I would rather have 320lbs of torque and all wheel drive than 380lbs and rear wheel. The new M3 will be nice with plenty of power but I would take the Audi any day of the week. It is all about the way you drive the car not the way the car drives you! This is for all of those out there that may think the M3 has a chance and are weary about the torque displacement.
