Just wondering if anyone has bought the tiptronic chip for their a6 from GIAC and if you really notice a difference/is it worth the money to get it?

I have an A4 and put the tip chip in a few months ago. Shifting is much quicker both in auto and tip mode. In auto the shifts are not quite as smooth, but much quicker. I am pleased.

I just bought an a6 2.7tt today, i'm going to have it chipped very soon, maybe an old post but i wil post results

Yeah I got the GIAC tip chip along with the GIAC X-chip six months ago and everything do run a bit quicker, and smoother.
