Default Legend Autorama (Audi) of NY -- TERRIBLE!

Let me share some advice if you are shopping for an Audi on Long Island, NY: Don't shop at Legend Autorama in Amityville!

After leaving a deposit of $300 with Legend Audi, my wife and I opted to lease through Huntington Audi. When I returned to Legend a week later to claim my refund on the deposit, I was denied a refund! The manager, Jack DePaulo, was the one responsible for refusing to issue a refund. Through the entire ordeal he was rude and unprofessional. He resorted to name calling on the phone and exhibited terrible customer service. This led my wife and I to 1) contact my credit card company to freeze payment, 2) submit a formal complaint to Audi USA and 3) complaint to Better Business Bureau.

My advice is to steer clear of the Legend Autorama dealership on Long Island. You'll will most likely get burned.

for what it is worth, i got my a4 8 years ago at legend, no probs.
and free service was there too....until
air bag light....they wanted me to wait 3 weeks to look at it.
at the time iwas new to this, and the book said bring to dealer asap.
huntington took it asap.
i have gone there ever since.
but legend parts are good folks...

I'm guessing thread revivals aren't a big deal in this forum?

Bought my car used and wanted to have it checked ofically. Asked to check the turbo because it had no boost (Could feel a difference from my dad's Passat 1.8t). You can see it in the invoice:

Tech said nothing about the turbo.

I bought a boost gauge and I had 0 psi at full throttle. After a thread at Audizine I came to the conclution that my wastegate broke off. Bought a turbo from someone in the classifieds and took the old turbo off to find:

Apparently an Audi tech couldn't find that a turbo was creating 0 boost when asked to check it for problems specifically.
