I don't think Alpine's got ANY red buttons on their units; they're almost all blue/green.

I am an Alpine dealer and the DVA-9965 is the only one that has multicolor illumination for this year.

Uh...I JUST got that in the dash, son. I was the one that wrote this tutorial about how to make the trim:
http://www.audiforums.com/m_235436/tm.htm

Do a search for everything I've covered on installations....IB subs, A-pillar tweeters, fiberglass kickpanels, amplifier intsall, etc. I've also placed at this years Spring Break Nationals in Daytona, after building up the car in ~30*F weather in Colorado.

Son? You dont look that old.

Thats cool I guess... not bad for an amateur.
I'll admit that you have some good ideas, but most of the work is not fully finished i.e. different colors of fabric on the A-pillar tweeter install. That wouldn't fly in a real Iasca competition.

Oh by the way that trim with ABS plastic around it looks terrible. How about putting a little duraglass on it sand then paint it.
