Default powerloss once up to temperature

got a problem which has me baffled ...

my A3 started playing up when idling, rev's where eratic. recently the problem has evolved into an almost complete loss of power which seems to happen once it's warmed up, occationally it will give a sudden jolt and from that point on be gutless ! any clues ?

i was recommended to inspect the coolant sensor (little to see there) and the MAF sensor which i've cleaned. no change ... apparently the car should still run with these disconnected but a little rough but still no change to the loss of power !

help !

Try the engine speed (RPM) sensor. When I had this kind of problem - very erratic power and random stalling - it turned out to be faulty. Replacing it sorted everything out.

sorted the problems finally .. replaced the Engine speed sensor and the crank sensor although i think my main problem was cause by the crank sensor ...
still running erratic but a plug clean and reseting the throttle should solve that..

Cheers
