Default Climate control gone bad

I was just wondering if anyone out there knows why my climate control is playing up?
Its a 1996 audi A4, Basically the heat selection works fine, but when you desire heat/cold at the dash mounted vents, it aint having none of it. All though the feet and the window settings are fine.
Anyone know? thanks

I think there is a blower flap motor that can go out, or the climate control unit is bad and not sending the appropriate signals.

My first thought was the Facia Control Unit but don't want to start a 'Lets spend lots of cash swapping bits out till it works' scenario. Second thought was the servo motors but them would they all go, tis possible.

Have now found out how to interrogate the Climate Control System and look at the fault codes and it returns the following

08.5 - Temperature Regulator Flap static block
11.7 - Central flap sporadic block
13.7 - Footwell/Defroster sporadic block
15.4 - Air Flow Flap Motor Potentiometer sporadic short

Not looking good [sm=smiley6.gif]
