Based on my reading of the Audi Model Guide (
Click here to go to it), the differences are as follows:
In 2002, you could order an A6 with a "sport" package. It added higher performance wheels, sport seats, and a more agressive suspension (lowered by 2 cm, 30% stiffer springs, 40% increased damping on the shocks).
In 2003, the sport suspension became standard. As such, the sport seats and wheels became separate options (no longer part of a package).
In 2004, the
only 2.7T offered was the S-Line. It has a horsepower boosted version of the 2.7T (265 HP instead of the usual 250 HP), more agressive wheels, a spoiler, special badging, and -- surprisingly -- NOT the sport seats (too bad -- they're a favorite part of my 2001 2.7T sport package).
