Default Sirius question

Hi everyone,

well - i took the plunge and traded in my 2003 gli for a new 2006 A3 2.0T. I'll miss the GLI, but am loving the audi so far. Quick question - does anyone out there have a 2.0T with Nav+, Bose, 6 cd changer and Sirius (or XM for that matter). Upon getting the car i was told by the dealership there would be a delay in getting the sirius hooked up (i am in Canada). I have now been told that my car cannot have sirius in it's current configuration. It has been suggested that it may be capable in the future. Does anybody have this combination of equipment....and if so, are any of you canadian?

Thanks

IG

p.s - this really is a sweet little ride in spite of this little snag.

Default RE: Sirius question

I'm not sure what the snag would be with that set-up? I know that it is possible for that configuration to work in the US. I have everything you stated except the navigation system and it works great. I only wish there was another input for an Ipod as well. Maybe there is one too few inputs with the Nav system? I don't know.

Good luck!

Default RE: Sirius question

At first they suggested it may be an input issue. however, i am hoping that is not the case. the sirius/xm thing is relatively new here and i think it is just a matter of getting the right part. The audi canada site lists xm/sirius compatibility as part of the nav package, so i am hoping that it is just a matter of time. i have done some digging and it seems many people have the nav+ sound package and sirius working so i'll just cross my fingers and hope for good news next week. Thanks for the response Chef!

Cheers
