The top ten posts talk about bangers, twins, and bras!

RS cars are rare in the states, most of the users on this board are from the UK...crazy brits and their strange english slang.

Elevens...read b/t the lines, the two people talking about bras/bangers are RS owners! Are you? Thats what I thought NO! What should we talk about "how my RS will blow away your POS". That would get old-branch out. Not sure what to think about your thread but you sound like a dweeb & I'm not a Brit!

Dear Trev, You obviously and completely missed the sarcasm. It was a JOKE, a simple observation of the titles of several threads that I found amusing and thought I'd share. I'm terribly sorry that it went over your head. If you recall, it wasn't two weeks ago that you replied to several of my posts regarding initial questions about the RS4. It's in my sig even! I ordered a Sprint Blue on May 12 with sunroof delete, scheduled for August/Sept delivery. Geez man, relax and take a breath before you lash out, name call, and insult a fellow enthusiast. It's no good for anyone.

Elevens, that was not lashing out by any means-especially in the world of business I am in. I was simply backing up my cause. I have also been incredibly busy and forgot you were the one with the sprint blue on order--my apologies--I do remember you now.
Instead of sarcasm, why don't ya say what it is that you want to talk about instead of bouncing around. This way you don't accidentally offend someone who is using the site for general/fun purposes. Infact, where have you been, I have not heard from you in a while?
It was a crazy Monday in the office today and after everything else that was going on, I read your thread and needless to say I was unsure how you meant it. It also sounded like you were referring primarily to myself with respect to your thread heading and post. This takes me back to a line from "twins" w/ Danny Devito & Arnold (Govenor). There is a part in the beginning where Arnold does the "up on 2 wheels stunt" in front of the grocery store. After he finishes the stunt and parks his car, Devito (his brother FYI) says "juleous (Arnolds character name) let me fill you in on a little secret....in America, no body likes a smart ass". I couldn't agree more! I hope this isn't rubbing you the wrong way I just want you to know how I feel about "direct sarcasm" as opposed to indirect. Take care-talk to you soon.
PS-you will love your new ride when you get it, trust me!

No offense taken Trev, and thanks for the friendly, non-confrontational reply. Your point is well taken, you are absolutely correct that sarcasm is easily mis-translated in the written word. My apologies.

Now for something you'll truly find amusing (hopefully). The pics of your Daytona RS4 pushed me over the edge and last week I submitted a change order: Daytona Gray over Silver. Was looking for a bit more stealth and a "safer" sight-unseen color. There you go, the ultimate compliment!

Now, just so you don't think you're getting off Scott-Free, I still think my POS will run even with an RS4 (jab, jab, poke, poke, that oughta get you revved up).

Normally, I would be reved up but, after the day I have had...I don't give a s*** dude! Just to be standing and breathing is good enough for me! Thanks for the reply, it was a lot less critical than I had expected! I do appreciate it!
Curious, if your current vehicle could run neck & neck with RS4, then why are you getting rid of it? Just a thought.
This car is absoultley amazing! Even if it were to get beat...I would pat her on the dash and say "maybe next time sweetheart", she's the best!
Trev

PS-Sounds like you made the right decision with the color. I was at my dealer today and they all said "out of every color they have seen, the Daytona Gray is by far the best"! The only color out of all offered that anyone there has not seen is the sprint blue! If you are going for a "hey, here I am kind of color" the sprint blue is the best! If you are going for a "you won't know it till it hits you (or in this case passes you) kind of a color...Daytona is the best! Thanks for the compliment, I hope you like your new choice!

The answer is simple: Michigan winters + snow+ice+living on a hill = MUST HAVE AWD

I LOVE the M5, but it drives me CRAZY storing it during the winter months. I want one great car that I can drive year 'round, not two season-specific cars.

I hope the first Sprint Blue I see doesn't make me have regrets changing colors. But then, the first Daytona Gray I see will likely cement the decision (haven't seen either color in the flesh).

Trust me, when you see the Daytona gray/w-pearl effect glisining in the sunlight...you won't regret it! I am sure the sprint blue looks awesome but the Daytona looks spectacular! Thats just on the exterior application but, when you apply Daytona to the interior matching characteristics...there is no better match!
