Intermittent wipers don't make the cut once you've become spoiled with rain-sensing wipers. I couldn't find it in the 4 brochure or the RS4 brochure, although it does mention "rain/light" sensor, whatever that is...
Sold my M5, so now I'm officially "in between cars" until the RS4 arrives (early Sept.). Gonna be a long summer.

Just tested my wipers out for the first time yesterday. push the toggle up once and it's automatic based on the amount of rain/pressure hitting the windsheild. I am assuming just like your previous M5 (if it had it). Push it up again and it goes into manual mode, where you have the option on the toggle to adjust the speed. You will know what I am talking about when you see it. Your dealer will explain it all to you before you leave the lot. Hope this helps. I would be going nuts if I had to wait 3 more months!

Rear heated seats is a very nice feature. Helps resale value, good for the kids/guest. My parents have an S600 Benz and their sun shade button has to be held down until it is all the way up. On the RS4 (when they say one touch on everything...they mean it) give the button a quick pop with your finger and up she goes. I do want to add, even though the low torque on this car is better for the powertrain life and other things, I would feel at little more confident going into sharp corners athigh speeds knowing there is more torque than HP. The 60/40 split is great too for strait line performance but again, for sharp quick cornering I would prefer 50/50. Just a thought I wanted to share. Don't worry it handles incredibly!
