'89 100 Hood Release - 6/23/2006 11:30:48 AM    jacque427   Posts: 6 Joined: 6/23/2006 Status: offline My 1989 100 hood release cable appears to be broken (or at least it won't open the hood). Any ideas on how to get the hood up to fix it? Post #: 1

Pulling on the handle from inside the car moves the cable (it can be seen from the grill). So how do I get it open from underneath? (in reply to techbod) Post #: 3

The cable now is quite loose, like it's broken. I'm reluctant to pull it too far. I did pull it inside and about an inch or two but pushed it back. I have not pushed down on the right side of the hood to relatch it. Heck, I understand you just fine. I thank you for the help. (in reply to techbod) Post #: 8
