Specifically those going from the B6 or B7 to the new RS4. I currently own a 2005.5 Black S4. I've been reading the reviews of he RS4, and then...saw one last week as I was driving down to NYC. Pulled up right beside me......Looked great.......I was wondering though, is it worth the extra 20g????

A 20K difference may be a bit low for a trade assuming 71K for a base RS4 after taxes/fees.

I wondered the same thing for months after ordering my RS4...finally made up my mind a mile into the test drive and traded my B6S4 5 mins later.

I suggest you drive one.

OK,
Think I will have to go for this. I have a feeling I will take a bit of a hit on the S4, actually making the RS4 a little more expensive that if Iwere buying it ourtright. It has 15k on it, and will have about 20k by the time an RS4 would get here. I do not think I would have an RS4 to test drive prior to ordering, but from what I've read...oh my. The S4 itself blew me away initially how well built and how well it drove. I had an older M3 a ways back, and went from a subaru o the S4....Thanks for the comments

i'm numba 251

running fine except that rattling noise is now happening at the right rear, left rear (sometimes) and the left front. sounds to me to be suspension related but i'll take it in to get checked at my next oil change.

I was the one driving... I decided to go down a side road to get a feel for it before taking it out into rush hour traffic and on I75 but I knew all I needed to know half way into the first turn when I hit the accelerator.

Sounds like you got taken for a ride when you bought yours ;)

Before I arrived to the dealer they told me they are the ones that drive you around. Like I said i knew I was gonna get the car eventhough i never expressed any desire to them. I had called them and told them I have limited time to look at it and go about my meetings. They gave me a tour of the car which was in the showroom and then had me started and when i heard the echo of the exhaust in the room my hair stuck up.
I cant imagine what it would sound had i pressed the s button. I havent to the day heard what my car sounds like while its being driven. I havent let anyone drive it but when i go through the strip and ocean city where there are buildings on both sides you can hear how viscious and exciting this car is. I truly love all this car offers to the driving experience
