The is an annoying buzzing inside my car, not all the time but at least 75 percent of the time. It sounds like its coming from the back passenger side. Someone told me it was the fuel pump. Is this true? If not has any one else experienced this annoyance? Anyone know what it might be?

I have a 1991 100Q and I know exactly what you are talking about! In my car the noise is strictly random, never lasts more than a few seconds and I could drive for months before the noise would reappear. I have had my car for a tad over 4 years and it has been doing it just as long. It doesn't seem to affect the performance. I suspect that it is probably either the silencer mounted on the fuel pump or the vent line. Getting to the silencer and fuel pump in a sedan is more than a PITA. Until it starts giving me problems I am not going to touch it.
I've got a 1990 100Q. Mine just started the buzzing last week. The first time I heard the buzzing, I realized that my locks weren't working right. When I try to lock/unlock the door from outside w/the key, the back locks won't cooperate. Perhaps one of you have discovered the same thing? Peace.
