Default better than finding a $20 bill...

everyone knows the feeling of finding some free money after laundry haha... how about after 3 weeks of enjoying every minute in the B5 only to find i have little robot men that wash my headlights!

Me & a couple buddies were sitting in my garage drinkin' beers and they were givin me a hard time about the car not being loaded!

a) i didn't have the third switch next to the fogs...only to find out was an option on the FWD model....1 for Trav

b)no headlight washers like the benzos & lexus's....wrong! readup in the manual and whoooosh spraying headlight washers!

anyone else have anything interesting that most of us newbies don't know..... ???

I just learned yesterday that I can open my trunk using the electronic latch on the outside of the car. Before, i was using the keyring or the switch inside the driver's door. Kind of stupid, but I had no idea it was there... [:@]

haha I knew the washers were there but didn't bother looking up how they worked, I just assumed they went on on their own since there was no button on the dash. After doing a search I found an old thread about holding the washer stalk for two seconds. I just went outside, tried it and boom wet headlights Now I got another thing I can brag about lol

I always thought they were broken until I heard a funny noise at night (headlights on) when I washed my windsheild and saw all my friends cracking up.

There's a small sun visor directly in front of the center panel in your roof (in front of the sunroof controls) that folds down to keep sunlight from sneaking between the driver and passenger sun visor. Crafty germans thought of everything!

yea...the headslight washers only work with headlights on....theres a little sun visor thing behind the rearview mirror (windshield side) im not really sure as to how functional it is...but its there.... oh...and i hear that if you put in the right # combination using the radio preset keys you get super boost.....

Things I found on my Audi which are cool:

1st aid kit and ski bag in the rear center arm rest
Interior motion sensors
Headlight washers
SECRET hidden 8 channel EQ in the Symphony radio!
Tiptronic buttons on steering wheel.... I thought they were Scan buttons for the radio that were broken....
heated windshield washer nozles and side view mirrors

Obviously I was a hardcore Audi noob at the time and the salesman didnt know shit about the car to inform me about all the cool little things.
