Chances are that you need to replace all your vac lines. I would buy 15ft of silicon line along with a handful of screw clamps and replace all lines. It should only take about 60min of your time and...

Changed the pump last night and the car seems to be fine on the drive to work this morning. No bucking and no surging.

He did already. The next thing the 171 code points to is the coolant temp. sensor. I had the same symptoms and codes and have spent about $400 chasing this problem. I will post if this $25 suction...

They are more for show because they are not high output leds like the rs has. The regular fogs work a lot better.


As far as cutting and splicing I see no reason why it wont work.

Sounds just like my problem. Mine acts up worse when the temperature is under 40 degree.
