give me the facts. he has replaced water pump, timing belt, new tires, wheels,
paint needs some tlc, but interior is great. please don't tell me to find a jetta
or a subaru.

$7K for a 90 coupe is a bit too much IMO. For that many bean$ it better be very well maintained, no accidents, all repairs performed frequently and documented. Even with low mileage the rubber and plastic parts have deteriorated. Go to 20V.org for more information.

I would say NO also ... for 7k you can get a A4 .... but if you're ready to trade your soul for the coupe then go for it :)

I would pay about 5 or 4.5 for that type of a car. but ye for 7 you can get a A4 which has much better comfort.
