Water/Methanol injection or not?

Any info or anyone run this system in their cars? Thinking about trying it out but I am doing my research first. I was told it will help my car run better and safer because of the extra boost I am running.

I have been thinking about doing it to my car more and more, but I am going to wait until I have a bigger turbo. I think you will find much better results with a K04 P-16 then add alcohol injection.

you dont need it yet. it might help out a bit but there are way more things you should do before that

yeah, you wouldn't need that mod yet. I had an aquamist system on my 300ZX Turbo only because I was boosting around 28-29 PSI from a T-66. It was a water/methanol injection which was much needed due to the amount of boost and heat that comes with it.

i was boosting 40psi out of my t3t4 with no meh/water

yeah, but what size motor? In a small motor, a I4, you can create alot of boost pressure with a t3/t4 because there's not much to fill. Most people use a t3/4 hybrid as their upgrade in a larger motor, say a V6 or even V8. In my V6, 3.0L is alot more and would require a more massive turbo, and a lot more spinning which would equal alot more heat.

Well I already have a kit from snow performance and im going to run it with my Ko4 when i get my FMIC in with the injectors and pc-16. Im still expecting atleast a 20p gain at the wheels with the ko4, seen over 60hp gains with my budies Turbo Regal running only 20psi at the dyno, its free power and its good for the motor as long as you keep it simple... seen some dyno's with a 01 s4 that gained 38hp at the wheels with stock ko3's and a GIAC chip...

bit of an old thread but I figured I would start it up again instead of making a new one... I'm looking at this kit

http://www.alcohol-injection.com/uni...-kit-p-12.html

seems pretty good to me overall..

Here is some info on my car you tell me if i'm planning this right..
1999.5 1.8T quattro 5spd
~k04
~borla
~upgrade DV
~samco hoses
~and i might look for an air filter upgrade.. i wanna keep my stock box just something better (non k&n)

NEXT UPGRADES IN ORDER:
1)turbo timer w/ boost gauge
2)FMIC
3)GIAC pc-16 chip w/injectors
4)water injection
5)maybe a high flow cat and then i'm done..

shootin for close to 300hp.. thoughts
