I just got an S4 and need to sell my old 2001 A6 2.7T. It has 90K miles and I listed it for $15K (below KBB). It's in great shape, has BBS rims, premium sound and is super clean. I have it listed on 3 online services, including AutoTrader, and I haven't had a single bite - nada. Any tips on unloading this thing? I need the cash to help pay for the new car!

Yeah. List it in the classified of as many forums as you can. This one. www.audiworld.com. www.audizine.com. Post lots of pics.

DON'T try to sell it through the discussion forums -- that's a no no.

Good luck.

Try craigslist. I had my previous car (also a 2001 2.7T) listed on cars.com, autotrader, ebay, etc., with maybe two not-so-solid leads for buyers. I listed it on craigslist, and I had 3 calls within 24 hours, and the first guy that came to see it bought it for my asking price. The second and third person gave me backup offers in case the first guy fell through.

Kelly Blue Book value is bullshit in my opinion. It's always way above the real used value.
Take $2.5K off the price and you'll have it sold in a week.

Yeah take kbb and throw it out the window. Then look at some similar cars online. If your price is considerable higher or the same price as other cars that arent selling you have your problem. It really doesnt matter what some stupid book says something is worth. Its really only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
