I recently aquired an audi 80 avant 2.0l ('93), stationwagon and can't find a repair manual for it. Does anyone know if it exists? If not, are repair manuals for earlier models relevant (e.g. Haynes audi 80,90, quattro (88-92)).

Furhtermore, does anyone have information on changing the... eh, don't know what they are called in english...but the ball-shaped bearings that attach the wheels to the eh... front bar thingy...

thanks,

magnus

check some catalogs like ETKA
it is not an repair manula but catalog for parts. But you will see the parts of car disasembled and all stuff will show where it goes.

PS I have no idea the name of the ball thiny. but know the name in russian only, sharovaia opora.
anyways there is only two types avalable. both are hard to change, well dipends how long they are there.
the newer more like sporty thiny needes alighment aftrer it is installed. it is bured out of steel, which looks less bulkier. The older and which is made from bend steal doent need alighntment and can be easily changed
