does a audi s4 2.8 turbo fit a audi a4 2.8 engine?

No and I dont know why. Ive came across this question and I know its NO. Not to sound mean but I have no idea why you cant do that, I really wish you could. Probably way too much $$ to convert.

now comes the freak with the knowledge.
Simple my dear Watson.
Audies V6 2.7 Turbo engine is too wide for the A4 engine compartment. A4's engine compartment would have to be heavily modified just to fit the engine and Turbos. It is easier to pull out the Stocker and upgrade to bi-Turbo. As the Turbos could be mounted stupidly and secretly. Futher more, thats a stupid idea, its easier to trade in for S4 and debadge and get authentic A4 badge.
