Need help to find the location of thermostat in the cooling system

On the 5-cyl the thermostat is located on the block under the housing that goes to the lower radiator hose.

Mine is 1.9 litre 4 cyclinder - we think the thermostat switch is sticking as my temperature gauge is not working properly - is it the same as the 5 cyl?

On the 1.8 4-cyl the thermostat is also located where the lower radiator hose mounts into the block and I suspect that it might be the same with the 1.9. The problem that you are experiencing might be the electrical connection and or the temperature sender itself. On my current 100q and my previous 4000S I had a similar problems and it was not the thermostat. So check both.
