well after 3 months the check engine light came on in our 01 2.7T auto. there are no other lights on and we called the dealer and they said call Monday if its still on...the car is still under warranty but we dont want to go through all the BS of them just resetting it and then weeks later it comes on until the warranty goes out then say this or that needs to be replaced...what is a common cause for the engine light to go on for the 2.7T? o2 sensor? something with the turbo's? my mom is the main driver and shes not aggressive at all and the car is garaged and is always warmed up before driving and always allowed to rest a little before shutting it down.
