ummm no that was ridiculous......ever see hummersgo up sand dunes, it could totally make it up that hill....either it was broken it wasnt in 4wd(not sure if they are cnontinuous 4wd or have a 2wd 4wd swith) or the driver purposefully let off on it and pushed it into neutral for this vid.....or the tires were totally garbage.......the new h2 and h3s are worthless offroad but the h1 alpha is basically the army hummer which is in fact very good for its intended use(ie combat tough terrain etc)
and the hill the audi did i can do in my saab in fact i lve on a much steeper hill that that and have driven in 1foot plus snow no problem w/ the right tires

Yeah how come the video cuts out suddenly at the end when it looks like the H1 is actually trying? I'm with vnv727 on this one, this video isn't very impressive at all.
The Hummer started at a stand still and the bottom of the hill at first and they show the Audi getting a rolling start. To me that dont seem fair at all.

lol ya it looked like the hummer was gona make it on that last go so its not a fair video. and i dont think the h1's are sh!t but i still think the quattro could hillclimb better. also a h1 is no where near as luxurious as an audi.
hillclimbing isn't the only reason they chose hummers for war vehicles. and the hummers over in iraq are a lot different from the ones you buy over here.
