Can I cancel Warning lights? - 1/27/2005 4:19:50 AM

I've had a couple minor warning lights (light bulb; oil level sensor) in the last couple days. I've got the car booked in to have these faults repaired, but for the next few days I'll have to watch the warning lights flashing unless someone can tell me how to cancel them out. I obviously don't want to disable the warning light system, but I used to fly airplanes for a living and if you had a warning light, you could cancel it until something new cropped up. Any similar provision on the A6?
