Can anyone please help me..
Audi Coupe 1991 2.3 Petrol fuel injection 20v

My car wont start in the morning the batery is good and charged. And there is fuel in the tank. I have tried finding a spark with a good plug from one of the leeds onto an earthed point and there is no spark at all. I cannot bump the car off but it will start straight away if i tow it off then it will be ok all day long starting first time. Then when the car is warmed up it has a strong blue spark. I cannot understand it as this dosnt make any sense at all.
I have took it it to two garages one of which is a bosch fuel injection and audi electrical specialist and no-one can find a fault with it. They both said that it has had all the tests and there is nothing wrong with it.
The electrical system has been tested and passed also the cold start valve and fuel injection. The thing is it was kept indoors at this garrage all night so when they tried to start it it did first time.
I am sick of it as it has kept me from work for two months and now i am in a situation whare i cannot afford to get it into any more garrages for them to tell me the same.
Have you ever heard of anything like this ?

I had a similar problem but mine was the opposite worked cold but failed intermittently hot. In my case it turned out to be defective HALL sensor in the distributor. If you have access to freeze spray a common item at electronics and computer repair shops. Take the distributor cap off and spray the hall element until it is covered with frost. Put the cap back on and try restarting. If it doesn’t restart your problem is solved.

My car seems to be having the same problem only I have a 92 model. It wouldnt start at first then I took it to a garage and got the fuel pump replaced. Now it starts but not on the first time I have to crank it a couple times and give it some gas for it to start. If this works for you let me know.

I could 2 things... fuel pump or hall sensor..
You can test fuel pump by placing a pressure metter and see if it can produce enough pressure.. mine use to drop to 2 psi after it got hot, it need 6 to run..
