worth getting a supercharger
 

Superchargers are at least 5 grand. is it worth it to get one for my 99.5 a4 quattro

if you have a 2.8 quattro and have plenty of money to drop, then hell yeah. It is the only bolt on method of making it quicker. If you are very mechanically inlcined though, you could always look into a custom twin/single turbo setup....

I'm trying to make 2 to 3 grand kit. As soon as I make one for my self. I would like to sell some, to ofset the price that I put in.
BUT I have to fix my power stering first, before i put SC in.

its a remote mount turbo runs about 3 grand for just the turbo
call sts just my 2cents if anything though i doubt it will be much cheaper

thats prolly not gona work too well on an audi. 2 guys have produced one-off setups for a turbo for the 2.8 but they never made it into production. just go to www.scaudi.com and get in on one of their group buys and it'll be cheaper
