Default New A3 w/A8 stock rims...

My friend hooked me up with his stock A8 rims, but noticed that the back tires rub. Has anyone tried to put these rims on their car? If, so did you have to do any mods inside the wheelwell to keep them from rubbing? Any help would be appreciated, since I really want to roll these rims!

Default RE: New A3 w/A8 stock rims...

I have tried a few Audi rims I had in my collection from my A4 and S6. The A3 has much different offset than otheer Audi's I have had. The offset on the A3 is deeper. Took some time for me to get a good fit. Then I added big breaks and has to buy new OZ wheels to fit over them.

Did you have to do anything to the wheelwell? What size/type were your rims?
