Recommend an Audi A6 Service Manual - 10/23/2006 7:02:13 PM    jshoc   Posts: 2 Joined: 10/23/2006 Status: offline Just purchased an 2001 Audi A6 Avant - wagon with 81K miles. Is there a service manual that the forum members would recommend? I intend to do the basics - oil change, brake pads, serpentine belt? Thanks Jim Post #: 1

RE: Recommend an Audi A6 Service Manual - 10/23/2006 7:46:54 PM    beefski   Posts: 1082 Joined: 4/15/2005 From: S.I., NY Status: offline the audi service manual is the best, most detailed etc. but the most $$$$. dont bother with the cd's from ebay for $10, they are crap. the audi manual is also avail on cd rom. at 81k miles it is time for the timing belt/water pump and pulleys to be done. dont wait too much longer if it hasnt been done yet.
