Default A6 2.4SE Misfire

I have a V6, 2.4 SE Audi A6, registered Sept 01. Tiptronic Automatic box.
Having used the Audi dealer for servicing I still have a problem (ongoing from way before the warranty ran out!) with the engine “misfiring” at just below 1400rmp and only when pulling off slowly. It feels as if the engine is trying to select the wrong gear and changes it’s mind…

They have changed the gear box for this fault already, with no change to the fault. The last visit they suggested it may be a vacuum leak but were not willing to carry out the work under warranty.

Does anyone have any suggestions/ similar issues?

Default RE: A6 2.4SE Misfire

My car while going up hills would buck like it wasnt getting fuel or trying to shift gears.. its still under warranty so i brought it too an audi dealership and they told me that the error read random misfire.. they couldnt figure out what it was and the only explanation they gave me was that it might have gotten some bad fuel. It also did it once when i first started it for a couple minutes..
