Default which one is more economic on gas; 2.7T or 2.8?

what are the diferences between them two?

My 2.7T does around 22mpg UK. And my brothers 2.8 does around 27mpg extra urban as they now call it.
So in answer to your question. The 2.8 is more economical but also not so much fun. Both our cars are Tiptronic Avants.
My brother has just bought an RS6 Avant. 18mpg if your lucky, but I'll still take it.

Now thats one up manship.
