Thanks for setting up a Q7 specific forum. I guess it will take some time for Audi to deliver enough to get the usage up but at least it is here.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I have the only one in the immediate area but I have received so many looks its crazy. People love this vehicle period. I think purchase of this vehicle will continue to rise in the upcoming months. The issue lies with Audi winning the hearts of American buyers. dankhound 11-03-2006, 01:52 AM Big suv that gets pretty bad milage. It should do very well in the us. BzeA4 11-04-2006, 09:47 AM Woot! Good for you!! Now lets see some pics guys!! Money Mike 11-05-2006, 02:02 AM I just bought one today. Got tired of fixing my A6 so my wife wore me out. Funny thing is when we sent to the dealer to get pricing, they really wouldn't budge. I went to KBB.com, got my config, sent it to the local Dallas dealer and saved about $4,300. The original dealer couldn' believe it and said my deal was B.S. Well, I've got one out the door with 7 years coverage and all oil and flex work for 45k miles. 3.6 premium, NAV, Sunroof, 20inch wheels with 98 A6 trade for $52K out the door. Let me know if anyone wants more details if they want to buy one. One thing I didn't get was the Reverse camera indicator. Does anyone know if there's a basic indicator when these cars go in reverse? I'll have to read the manual I guess. Drives great. I'll post photos in future. DenimTT 12-08-2006, 12:50 AM Yes, it has a standard rear reverse warning. I drove one around all day today, it was a privelege. Such a Nice truck! Luxury with plenty of power. More toys then anyone should ever actually try to operate while driving. If I could justify (or afford, for that matter) to pay for one, I would in a heartbeat. EJW 12-16-2006, 01:18 AM We Have had our 4.2 Q7 since June 15 '06. Absolutely love the vehicle except for the past 2 months when it has been at the dealer for repairs more than it has been with us. The first problem we had was the CD changer quit and while the vehicle was at the dealer's lot it was damaged requiring 2 weeks at the body shop then it was returned to us infested with ants. More recently there was a "humming" noise eminating from the passenger side of the vehicle at speeds of approximately 40 mph and up, and would stop when we decelerated to 20 mph. The problem only occurs when the vehicle is warmed up and is sometimes intermitent. The first time we took it in it was misdiagnosed as a problem with the door seal. I disagreed with the service writer and stated that I belive it was eminating from the drive line. The vehicle was returned to us and within hours the strange "humming" noise returned. It has now been 10 days since it was taken back to the dealer and they still don't know what is causing the noise which is so loud it can be heard when another car is driven along side with the window down. Thus far ther is no end in sight as to when it may be diagnosed and what it is going to take to fix it. This is a $60,000.00 vehicle and in the interim they have furnished us with a Ford Explorer to drive. All I can say is that I am very DISAPOINTED! texanq7 12-24-2006, 01:55 AM Hey EJW - How many miles were on your Q7 when the humming began?? aggie88 01-14-2007, 01:09 AM Money Mike - I would likemore details on your deal in Dallas - which dealer did you get the discount from. Ralph I found this on the other forum - audiworld. When I askedmy salesman how much it is he quoted me over $1200 for parts alone! You can find it listed on AUDIUSA.com under the accessories link for the Q7. One thing to think about when adding the hitch is the programming for thetransmission. There is a thread in the other forum about this. http://forums.audiworld.com/q7/msgs/9854.phtml |
