Do all Audi drivers seats feel like you are sitting on concrete or did they make this a special feature in 2003 A4 1.8T?

I got leather recaro style seats in my 5000, and theyre still fairly soft after 20 years.

my seats are a little stiff also, but still comfy IMO. '03 1.8T

99 2.8Q, and the seats are very comfortable. Somewhat firm but still very nice, and softer than they were in my 300Z for sure. I love 'em. You may just have worn cushions for some reason, and the foam could be packed down some causing it to be less comfortable?

seats are supposed to be a bit stiff, makes long car rides easier to deal with, hense plane seats

All depends on what you're used to. If you're used to 70's era Caddy seats, sure, the Audi seats will seem hard. On a long drive, however, you'll be much less sore with a firmer seat.

What's your basis of comparison?
