Default Bigger grill

The plastic behind the front plate broke off so I was thinking of cutting the entire opening larger.

Here is a pic (hack job just to give the idea) of what I was thinking, compared to the orignal

let me know what you think?
I think it looks pretty cool (the concept not the my actual art)

Do you know any one that has done this?

hmmmm, i dont really know to be honest with you

i like the idea but im not sure how good it would look if it wasnt done perfectly, but if you do that you should make the most of it and stick a big ic there

Yeah, cutting into my car... even saying it makes me a bit nervous. But I have been thinking about it for awhile now.

As for the bigger intercooler I hear you there. I was thinking something like this...

but that might be overdoing it just a tiny bit for my current set up.

necesary if yourplaning on running 9s with it, lol........it you do it like that you need to lower upgrade the brake sand stick k04s with the highest hp level possible so it actually makes sense

good idea if you got the money to go all out, what id do is probably remove it and use that diamond mesh or go all horizontal black lines no vertital ones at all top or bottom part of the grille

Cool,

Thanks for the thoughts about keeping the lines out of the vertical.

As for the 9 second S4 I dont think I will really go that extreme for quite some time. I would be fine with the size that I portioned out in my pics plus I dont want a really visable intercooler.

Reason is I enjoy being a bit more steath to the police. I move my car quickly alot and not sticking out to much with performance modds really does cut down on the amount of time I spend on the side of the road with an escort.

Basically I want my car to the enthusiast to be obvious that it has been tuned with thoughtful decisions, but to the average joe I want it to look like a clean cut 4 door sedan.

So a bit bigger of a forward mesh section would work, but probably only if it maintained the black mesh so it doesnt stick out during a brief fly by. If I put the FMIC in there I would also probably spray it black to conceal it as well. (dont get me wrong I like the look of a nice shinny IC out front, it just I am serious there is a whole 40mph window that I know I can exploit so long as I look more pedestrian to a quick glance)

I am looking forward to seeing what you have work up.
