I love everything about my car except one thing, the sound system.

I have the "non-bose" system in it and the sound is adaquet at best. I'm looking to feel the base when I listen to base heavy music, and to hear a clear sound no matter what I'm listening to. I have a relatively small budget. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

what you want is to add a subwoofer (and subbox/enclosure) for starters - that can make your system sound 100% better.
You will need an amp to push it, but you don't need anything monstrous.

I have a friend that added a 10" Kicker sub and Pioneer amp to his non-bose system in his a4. It sounded miles
above just the stock system on its own.
