Auto lock problem and alarm question
 

i used the vag to program auto lock after 15mph for my a6. it works when you first drive away but if you unlock the doors to let someone out and drive away again it doesn't relock. anyone know why?

also the alarm is a mystery to me. sometimes it locks on it's own as if it's on a timer without arming the alarm with the remote but other times it doesn't lock.

That is normal, it won't relock on it's own until you turn the car off and restart it. As far as the other problem described i'm not sure what you mean. I know that if you unlock the car and don't get inside after a minute or so it will relock itself.
