I hope someone can help me on this I have a 98 A6 avant and the climate control has an intermittent fault. When I start the car from cold I get the outside temp display on the dash but climate control unit is dead, does not even light up with dash lights. Then the outside temp display will go off and still no climate control, after car has warmed up the climate control usually comes to life and works as normal the outside temp display also comes back on. I say usually because sometimes it does not come on even when the car has warmed up.

Any suggestions would be much appriecated.
