Default Picked up an A-3 S-line DSG

Hi folks being a porsche-crazy nut I've not had any audis before but I'm always a sucker for new technology so I picked up a white S-Line, nav, dsg, roof etc... The modds have already begun as we flashed it with the GIAC software. The AWE DP and exhaust is on its way as are the under drive pulley kit, Oettinger CF airbox and a few other knick nacks!

Sharkster:

You and I are in the same boat. I have had 4 996s and I am now driving a heavily modified 97 993 C4S.

Just picked up an almost identical A3 as yours for my wife, except she wants a Brilliant Red. I took it thru 84 to the coast the very first weekend and was pretty disappointed at the steering feel (or lack of) and the Turbo lag. Made me almost felt sorry not getting the six.

Now 2 months later, and having driven a rented A3 in Germany including a couple of laps at the Nurburgring. I now love the handling of the A3. It's pretty easy to drive and the s-line suspension is pretty good for a stock suspension.

An intake and a chip will take care of the lag pretty quickly and give you better performance than the six. Definitely brings the car to a whole new level.
