Have any of you heard about the new transmission that will be in tts, the clutchless manual that takes less time to shift than a conventional manual???

Default New transmission

You are wrong my friend<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley1.gif border="0">
it will NOT be a clutchless transmission
On the contrary it will have TWO clutches.
It will work VERY similar to BMW's SMG transmission that comes as an option on BMW M3.

Default RE: New transmission

Correction the DSG is problamatic, yes it makes for quicker shifts with the two clutches but from other TT forums i have seen many many problems with this system. Untill perfected the technology will be problamatic. For some lucky owner problems may not arise but for many i have a feeling it will be a big pain in the you know what
